Realms of Reverie

Realms of Reverie is a multi-stage literary competition that celebrates creative writing and spoken expression through original literary works in both English and Hindi. Participants may compete in one of four categories: English Poetry, English Story, Hindi Poetry, or Hindi Story, providing a platform for writers to showcase their creativity in the literary form and language of their choice.

The competition unfolds across three rounds:

Round 1: Incipit
16 Sept 2026, 12:00 AM to 23 Sept 2026, 11:59 PM | Google Form

Participants submit an original literary work in their chosen language and category through the official submission form. Entries will be evaluated by the judges, and shortlisted participants will advance to the next round. The last date for submission is 23 September, 11:59 PM.

Round 2: Resonance
25 Sept 2026, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM | Google Meet

Shortlisted participants will create a new literary work based on a given theme and present it through a live online recitation. Separate sessions will be conducted for Poetry and Storytelling, with selected participants advancing to the finale.

Round 3: Woven Tapestry
27 Sept 2026, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM | Google Meet

In the final round, participants will be paired into teams of two through a shared visual prompt. Each team will have one poet and one storyteller, who will work together to create a single integrated literary piece. Participants will not be able to choose their partners. The final work will be presented live online and evaluated on creativity, collaboration, recitation, and overall execution.
